This file contains release notes for the various versions of FastLabel that have been released.
Printer Note: If you are using any printer that prints sheets of labels (as opposed to pinfeed labels), such as the StyleWriter, DeskWriter, GCC PLP, etc., then you should use the LaserWriter templates with your printer. LaserWriter templates are templates for sheets of labels, ImageWriter templates are for pin feed labels. The Envelope templates contain both types of templates.
Fixed a bug in the EPS routines that wasn't parsing some EPS files correctly.
Improved the button hiliting for color monitors.
Added tab stops to the Address object. You can now consistantly position text using tabs.
Fixed a bug that caused newly created template files to be invisible to the Finder.
Fixed a system 6 bug that caused menu entries for newly created templates to be dimmed.
Fixed a bug in the Sequencer that caused the final two numbers in a sequence to print at the beginning of the sequence. This only occurred if there was no text in the Address Object.
Removed the default 'untitled' name for a new template.
Resized the dimension boxes in the define dialog which were too small to hold some fractions.
Fixed a bug that caused Preview to work incorrectly on 68000 machines.
Fixed a bug that caused labels to print in the wrong position if the Address object was empty or turned off.
Fixed a bug in the Help System that caused the Quadra to freeze up.
Added templates for NEBS pinfeed and sheetfeed labels.
Added templates for UAL pinfeed and sheetfeed labels.
Fixed a bug in the List window selection routines; you couldn't deselect a list after the entire list had been selected.
Fixed a bug in the List window that was causing the Totals and Selected items at the bottom of the list not to be updated correctly.
Fixed a bug in the Sequence object that caused it to print the last two numbers first if there was not any text in the Address object. (Obscure, no?)
Fixed a bug that was causing large lists to quit printing before finishing the list if the number of items processed before loading the next section of the list was divisible by 128.
Fixed a bug in the Cut and Paste routines for the Address and Message objects.
Fixed a bug that was causing the FIM strip not to be printed. FIM is now printed regardless of barcode position if the label is at least 3.5x5" and a zip+4 code is present.
Fixed a bug in the Formatter that caused fields to disappear if they were not drug to a new line.
Fixed a bug in the Tutorial window that was causing it to scroll improperly if the window was resized larger. The Tutorial window now only displays whole lines of text.
Fixed a bug in the Color submenu that caused it to display the wrong color (off by one) for the currently selected text.
Fixed a display bug in the Clipboard window that was erasing the Clipboard when the Clipboard window was selected.
Fixed a bug that caused the Clipboard window to be improperly erased when resized.
Fixed a bug that caused the last field of a two field record to be duplicated if you applied an import format to it.
Fixed a bug that caused a premature "List is Full" error when importing. Actually, this should have been a low memory warning. Now, FastLabel reports an appropriate message either a low memory warning or a "List is Full" warning. Additionally, FastLabel will go to greater lengths to free up additional memory before halting importing because of low memory.
Changed the "Labels Spooled" message to the more understandable "Labels Sent to Printer."
Fixed a bug that caused the Label window to update improperly when it was resized after being scrolled.
Changed the phone numbers in the About dialog to match the new numbers at Vertical Solutions.

Fixed an bug that affected users of early versions of system 6 (pre - 6.0.4).
Fixed a bug in Modify templates that wasn't updating the template dimensions correctly if the arrow keys or the tab key wasn't used each time a dimension was changed.
